Granada, La Alhambra, 21 January 2011. In January of 2011, the GLC traveled with more than 75 students to Madrid, Spain, with side trips to Segovia, Toldeo and Granada. A highlight of the trip was Al Hambra, a touchstone of Arabic Heritage in the heart of Spain. Again student response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic and a reverence for and a curiosity of other cultures was rekindled.
